At AAERS, all individuals who provide services for our company do so as Independent Contractors, not employees.

This means:

  • You are responsible for your own taxes and will not have taxes withheld from your pay.

  • AAERS will provide you with a Form 1099-NEC at the end of the year if you earn $600 or more in a calendar year.

  • As an Independent Contractor, you have control over how you perform your work and are not entitled to employee benefits, such as unemployment insurance, workers’ compensation, or company-provided health coverage.

  • You are responsible for maintaining any required licenses, certifications, or insurance needed to perform your work.

By accepting assignments through AAERS, you acknowledge that you are working as an Independent Contractor and not as an employee of AAERS.
